Director of Manufacturing

Position Type: Full-time, Exempt, Salary
Reports to: President - Digital Business
Supervisory Responsibility: Manufacturing Group
Location: Jacksonville, FL

Summary
This role directs and oversees all aspects of the fabrication and manufacturing process by ensuring products are manufactured on schedule and that they conform to established company quality standards, in order to meet organizational objectives.

Essential Functions:
•Develops and formulates long-term and short-term planning policies, programs, and objectives.
•Develops and directs the manufacturing plan, and establishes and implements policies, procedures, and programs for maintaining and improving high standards of
manufacturing operations.
•Oversees work order process, quality adherence, processing and materials management.
•Executes business strategies and practices to constantly improve production capability, quality and costs.
•Understands and confirms customer production requirements, and takes appropriate actions within the scope of responsibility to ensure these requirements are met.
•Directs and monitors fabrication management to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures.
•Contributes to the establishment and assessment of the organization's annual manufacturing budget.
•Oversees compliance of established policies.
•Participates in the investigation and implementation of new services, manufacturing processes, and product or systems technologies to meet the organization's
manufacturing objectives.
•Identify other items for improvement
•Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing / assembly environment. This role routinely uses standard construction-type equipment such as ladders and hoists as well as office equipment such as machines. Some of the work will require exposure to loud noises or fumes in the facility.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or management related discipline.
•A minimum of 5 years of experience in project and/or construction management.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project.

Preferred Education and Experience
•Master’s degree in construction, engineering or management related discipline.
•Experience in the power, oil & gas, data center and / or district energy industries.

Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in USA.
