Your role
The Manufacturing Solutions Manager is responsible for driving operational efficiency and ensuring the smooth execution of facility maintenance activities.
This role analyzes production data to identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives across machining, assembly, testing, and fabrication. You and your team will execute projects that optimize processes, reduce waste, improve safety, and increase throughput from simple process changes to million-dollar improvement projects.
Additionally, this role oversees the facility maintenance group of facility coordinators and technicians that execute preventative maintenance plans and unplanned emergency maintenance to eliminate production delays and provide a safe working environment.
The compensation range for this position is $144,000- $163,000 annually. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus. Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of manufacturing engineers, facilities planners and maintenance technicians.
  • Lead process improvement and cost reductions that achieve department and companywide goals
  • Prioritize and allocate resources; recruit and train staff as required
  • Hire and train new employees as required
  • Track cost savings and efficiency improvements for reporting

To succeed, you will need
What you already know:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or similar field.
  • 5+ years' experience working in a production environment, 10+ years preferred
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Trained in and/or knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma and 6S methodology
  • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills including leadership, communication, teamwork, and team building
  • Self-starter: positive make-happen attitude, capable of handling multiple tasks, able to self-correct and self-improve
  • Proven record of driving innovation, continuous improvement, and change

Physical Requirements/Essential Functions:
  • Able to travel internationally.
  • Able to work in regular local office setting using computer, keyboard, etc.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs and use hand tools occasionally
