• 2nd shift Monday thru Friday 2:45pm-11:15pm (most Saturdays also 1/2 days)
• $30.00 to $40.00 based on experience.
What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:
• Performing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic maintenance and repair on the production facility’s machinery and equipment.
• Reading work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
• Visually inspecting and troubleshooting machines and equipment to locate the cause of malfunction.
• Inspecting and measuring parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
• Reassembling machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
• Determining the necessity of repairs and/or maintenance work through regular inspections to prevent breakdowns or major overhauls.
• Performing preventative maintenance duties as assigned.
• Performing building maintenance and general carpentry.
• Working overtime when necessary to ensure the production equipment/machinery is operational.
• Following company policies and procedures for the operation of forklifts, overhead cranes, and lock-out/tagout procedures in accordance with Federal and State OSHA regulations.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have at least two (2) to four (4) years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Have the ability to read and comprehend written instructions, work orders, and blueprints in English.
• Can read and understand electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic prints.
• Are knowledgeable in general carpentry and repair.
• Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Are proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Can move, transport, and install items weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Are able to successfully complete training and maintain a license/certification for forklift and overhead crane use, along with lock-out/tag-out procedures in accordance with company policies and Federal and State OSHA regulations.
• Are familiar with plastics Aux equipment and machine knowledge of various brands.*** Thermolators, Dryers, Material feed handling systems (Novatech-Conair), Hot runner controllers, Valvegate controllers (Hydraulic and Pheumatic), Water Pump stations, Vacume pump stations, Robot trouble shooting (Fanuc, Sepro and Ranger) and most important, machine trouble shooting for brand names
