Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a book of business
  2. Proactively reach out to clients
  3. Conduct ongoing account reviews for your designated portion of the business
  4. Work efficiently and effectively with clients on their policies
  5. Effective account rounding
  6. Generate referrals for Commercial Lines and other departments
  7. Educate the clients about the benefits of having our agency as their agency
  8. Generate additional revenue on the book of business
  9. Review accounts when clients call in and work to improve coverage both through endorsements and coverage increases
  10. Identify account rounding opportunities and proactively pursue them
  11. Identify coverages that clients have with other agents
  12. Generate demand for coverages the client didnt know they needed (i.e. umbrella, cyber, EPLI)
  13. Work to attract the business owners personal insurance to the agency
  14. Conduct account reviews
  15. Complete 100% of account reviews assigned to you each week. This includes reviewing potential discounts and coverage gaps
  16. Contact the client for a formal review that improves the client relationship, generates opportunity and reduces remarketing
  17. Follow agency remarketing guidelines
  18. Provide outstanding inbound service on claims, billing questions, certificates, audits and endorsements
  19. Work to manage clients expectations
  20. Follow up via phone or email with clients
  21. Use every opportunity to confirm and update client contact information
  22. Educate clients on the benefits of using our agency
  23. Service Commercial Lines accounts in a manner so as to eliminate gaps in coverage, thus reducing E&O exposures
  24. Document the management system
  25. Follow agency service standards on follow up and follow through
  26. Positive attitude and efficient work ethic
  27. Work to increase and improve efficiency on a daily basis. This includes always finding ways to streamline processes, using technology tools to the fullest and limiting general distractions
  28. Possess and maintain a positive mental attitude, including positive working relationships with clients and agency personnel
  29. Conduct audits on new business files
  30. Work with the producers to check their new business files for accuracy
  31. Send any onboarding materials to clients post-sale
  32. Update any missed new business items
  33. Sell new business for the agency
  34. Take new business opportunities and work to submit them within 48 hours of getting the opportunity
  35. Follow the agency sales process
  36. Follow up according to the sales process
  37. Hold the target agency closing ratio
  38. Work with producers to quote and bind new business leads
  39. Communicate with the producers on new business quoting proactively
  40. Submit quotes within 48 hours
  41. Work with underwriters on pricing and getting quotes in a timely manner
  42. Work to support the marketing and branding team in the following ways:
  43. Provide them any business cards to be entered into marketing campaigns
  44. Suggest blog, email and social media topics to the marketing department
  45. Share agency social media posts on personal social networks
  46. Participate in pictures and agency branding opportunities when invited



Requirements

A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.

  • Career minded vision.
  • Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.

  • Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
