Dental Assistant

Highly regarded Periodontal Surgery office in Poway is looking for a Rockstar surgical dental assistant to join our growing team. This is a long-term position where you will be an integral part of the team with a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities for learning and growth.

Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day responsibilities include assisting the surgeon during consultation and surgery appointments as well as many of the tasks below:

• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort

• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed

• Sterilize instruments according to regulations

• Assist with New Patient Exams

• Assist with patient follow-up appointments

• Periodontal surgical procedures,

• IV Sedation & General Sedation Setup

• Proficient in quality x-ray and sterilization

• Organized administrative duties.

• Lab preparation and tracking.

• Supply and Inventory.

• OP3D CT scan

• Open Dental/Dexis

The most important requirement of this position is the ability to genuinely serve our patients on every level, including the ability to enhance patient satisfaction and increase office efficiency. Your role must be able to positively impact patients, coworkers, referring offices, and the practice.
