The Network Engagement Manager holds a field-based position focused on managing physician relationships. Acting as a liaison between Salubris and its partners, including physicians and health plans, this role is pivotal in facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Responsibilities include conducting analyses to identify areas for improvement and developing action plans to optimize outcomes. Additionally, the Network Engagement Manager handles inquiries, educates physicians on relevant topics, and oversees the receipt and updating of credentialing, contract, and directory documents. Success in this role hinges on the ability to cultivate trust and strengthen partnerships with physicians and health plan partners. The ideal candidate should possess a strong problem-solving aptitude and advocate for enhancing the overall experience of all stakeholders within the network. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Relationship Building
  • Build trust and manage the relationship between the company and its network partners – physicians and health care teams – as a primary point of contact. Function as client manager/liaison for assigned physician and support positive, productive relationships with their staff and health plan partners. Collaborate with physician’s office staff in executing company programs and adhering to benchmarks set forth in all value-based programs.
  • Perform site visits to conduct outreach, education, training and orientation sessions for physicians and their key administrative staff. 
  • Travel within the South and Central Florida region.
  • Respond to partner inquiries and requests for information – including about the provider network, referrals/authorizations, claims/encounters, and reporting.
Problem Solving
  • Identify “trends” in physician activity rather than react to occurrences: triage routine physician issues and internal inquiries regarding policies and procedures, authorizations, credentialing or claims status, orientation activities, and database or portal information or usage.
  • Perform initial problem-solving to address issues in real-time, or perform necessary research to address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Escalate issues as appropriate; provide field-intelligence to leadership.
Administration and Management
  • (Regular Reporting Visit) Assist in preparing and distribution of routine and ad-hoc reporting for physicians; prepare agendas for physician visits in the field, document the virtual or on-site field visit, and perform any necessary follow-up.
  • (Provider Contract & Update) Support or assist with operational activities that may include, but are not limited to, provider database updates and contract implementation – including provider recruitment. Receive, review, track and prepare provider contracts, credentialing documentation and provider directory updates, assist in obtaining necessary documents from providers to complete credentialing, re-credentialing and necessary projects.
  • (Organization) Self-manage personal monthly calendar, tasks, objectives and goals.  Review departmental and personal goals on an on-going basis with team. Regularly update internal documents – including forms and process and procedure guides.
  • (Compliance) Follow all applicable federal/state regulations with respect to Confidentiality and HIPAA, among others.
  • (Education & Growth) Continue professional growth and development.
Outreach and Education
  • Identify and network with existing, new and potential physicians – including value-based entities – to educate/promote the company model of care and services – including on portals, protocols, policies, procedures, claims/encounter submission, and services to enhance the overall provider experience.
  • Conduct orientations/re-orientations. Complete outreach to new physicians: Provide training and support to them and their staff about network and programs.
  • Collaborate with leadership on new ideas for positive brand growth.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience related to management of physician offices
  • 3-5 years' experience in relationship management in healthcare or other industries
  • Working knowledge of healthcare network operations
  • Ability to effectively review health care data elements from analytical and management reports clinical, financial and operational and generate appropriate education and action items from those.
  • Willingness to travel within the South and Central Florida Region. Occasional overnight travel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and perform effective Internet research. 
  • Ability to manipulate large databases and to produce meaningful analytical and management reports.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strong preferred
