YOUR ROLE

The Affiliate Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities involved with affiliate publishing advertising campaigns. He/she will work closely with the Affiliate Director, Sales Team, and Management to ensure success for both the affiliate and Launch Potato.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues
  • Execute optimizations: sub ids, rate adjustments, quality checks with AM and AE
  • Take appropriate action on Quality Control: Pulls, Pausing Sources, Reviewing Messaging
  • Utilize tools to ensure compliance
  • Utilize click logs and conversion to ensure compliance
  • Ensure we communicate effectively to discuss the type of traffic generated and match the affiliate traffic to appropriate campaigns
  • Develop strong relationships with publishing partners, inquiring about their promotional channels and business success needs, and utilizing on-going communication with publishing partners to properly match up campaign inventory to available traffic inventory
  • Be in constant communication with publishing partners via email, Skype, phone and other communication applications including WhatsApp and Slack
  • Use all communication means to document crucial communications such as immediate campaign expirations, caps and other time sensitive items; Respond to publisher requests in a timely manner
  • Supply creative packages, links and reporting to affiliates as needed
  • Proactively monitor traffic sources on all campaigns
  • Set and manage monthly, quarterly and annual goals for revenue growth
  • Represent Launch Potato at industry conferences
  • Support the management of the Tune platform in order to ensure ease of use and complete support of the publisher needs. Ie. ensure creative, content, and resources are up to date and accessible to the appropriate publishers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • At least 3 years of experience in affiliate marketing
  • Knowledgeable in implementing and optimizing affiliate marketing campaigns
  • In-depth history of building and fostering affiliate relationships with past success
  • Experience with tracking platforms (HitPath, Tune, CAKE, etc.)
  • The right candidate must be a self-motivated multitasker with strong analytical skills and knowledge of the digital media landscape. You should have experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial environment.
