Job Description

Job Title: Culinary Production Specialist - Ready to Eat Meals and Sauces

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Culinary Production Specialist to join our dynamic food production team. If you have a creative culinary mind, experience with sauce creation, and a desire to craft delicious ready-to-eat meals, this position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with our Executive Chef and directly influence our product line.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and prepare a variety of ready-to-eat meal samples, expanding our product offerings to delight customers with new tastes.

- Craft small batch sauces, innovating with flavors and textures to complement and enhance our meal selections.

- Manage all aspects of the culinary process, from selecting quality ingredients to the final presentation and taste testing.

- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to refine recipes and contribute ideas that align with our brand's culinary vision.

- Work autonomously, ensuring the timely production of high-quality food items while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.

- Adjust to varying production schedules with a willingness to flex hours as needed to meet project deadliness and company goals.

Required Qualifications:

- Proven culinary experience, with a focus on ready-to-eat meals and sauce production.

- A minimum of 2 years in a professional kitchen, food production environment, or equivalent culinary role.

- Demonstrated creativity in recipe development and a keen understanding of flavor profiles and ingredient pairing.

- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for early morning, late evening, or weekend shifts as required by production needs.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting without direct supervision.

- A team player attitude, willing to collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and other team members while also being self-motivated to accomplish independent tasks.

- A valid food handler's certificate or willingness to obtain one upon hiring.
