Solar Technician / Superintendent

One80 Solar is a professional solar energy firm focused on the development, design & engineering, construction, and operation of commercial, industrial, and small utility-scale solar power plants. We are headquartered in San Antonio and service clients nationwide.

Our construction team is on the search for a hard working, problem solving, fun loving person to fill a multi-faceted role that will divide time between troubleshooting existing solar systems, assisting with project logistics, and acting as superintendent / quality control on job sites. This is an active, hands on position where no two days are alike. A strong electrical and mechanical background is a must, with a minimum Journeyman electrical license. This position is for someone that enjoys the process of troubleshooting, finding solutions and values quality in the construction of commercial-scale projects. 

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Necessary Requirements:

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Can have fun while working hard. Life is too short not to enjoy your work.
• A solid understanding of state and local code
• Comfortable using various business software
• Open to travel within Texas and possibly throughout the country as needed.

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of and experience in the solar industry, 
• Construction experience, particularly regarding the management of commercial job sites
• Familiarity with IT and data communications
• A working competency in Spanish.
• NABCEP certification.
