2nd SHIFT DISPENSER

Zing Professional Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent flavor/fragrance manufacturing company in Piscataway, NJ, is seeking 2nd shift dispenser to join their team!!

Hours 2pm – 10:30pm

Hourly Rate $21/hour

Dispenser performs a variety of duties involved in the dispensing and filtering of flavors. Filters, Packs, Samples and Palletizes materials. Places materials in designated areas for future shipments or storage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Dispensing into various size packages per direction or Sales Order.
Following all personal and product safety procedures compliant to company standards.
Possessing and applying a working knowledge of all pumps, mixers, scales, fork trucks, high density storage units, meters, and computers
Printing Labels that coincide with the sales order(s) and affixes to the designated orders.
Logging and recording all batch information in Batchmetrics and utilizing ERP system for inventory control and transfer.
Complying with good manufacturing practices and Company SOP’s ensuring compliance to SQF and regulatory standards.
Adhering to schedules provided by supervision with respect to training, scheduled cleaning and routine inspections (Post OP/Pre OP)
Being on the production floor on time with proper equipment, clothing, and PPE.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous related industry experience is a plus, including:
1. Forklift experience.
2. Dispensing techniques, the use of scales and other dispensing equipment, performing filtrations and packing of materials.

Work Environment:

Personal Protection Equipment required:

Safety eyewear and gloves are compulsory.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to frequently lift up to 80 pounds and move up to 400 pounds (with mechanical assistance).
Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to frequently walk through the warehouse.
