Toxicology Technical Supervisor

Lighthouse Lab Services has partnered with a small family pain clinic looking to add an LCMS General Supervisor to their team located in Palm Beach, FL.

This is Monday-Friday day shift position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Position Overview:

• Performs routine testing, quality control, calibration, maintenance, and proficiency testing in accordance with current laboratory procedures
  

• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines
  

• Responsible for providing day-to-day high complexity test performance

• Responsible for monitoring test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.
  

• Assuring that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the established performance specifications
  

• Ensuring that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the tests properly functioning

• Perform other duties as directed

Candidate Profile:

• B.S. in Chemistry, Clinical Lab Science, or related field
  

• Qualify as testing personnel under CLIA guidelines and have at least 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing
  

• Previous experience testing blood samples

• 1+ year of Toxicology testing required

• Florida State Supervisor License Required
  

Salary / Benefits:

• $90-110k DoE
