Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor on 2nd shift to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers for a pre-engineered metal building manufacturer.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams.
Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel.
Work closely with production control to ensure schedule is processed timely.
Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Perform all supervisory duties such as hiring, evaluating, educating, training, coaching and disciplinary actions.
Track and report material scrap rates and work with your employees to reduce drops and waste.
Maintain the quality and accuracy of the physical inventory under your direction.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
Knowledge of production tools and equipment
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
