Job Description

**This is a temporary position**

SUMMARY: Responsible for departmental operations of Med/Surg, ICU/CCU, Emergency Department, and Nursing Administration on 24-hour basis. Reports to the CEO/CNO.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education: Graduate of a school of nursing. B.S.N. preferred.
Minimum Experience: Three (3) - five (5) year’s clinical acute nursing experience, minimum one-year previous charge nurse or supervisory experience required. Knowledge of regulatory compliance.
Required License/ Certifications: Current CA RN License in the state of California, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ABM/MAB/CPI certificate within (90 days upon hire) annually thereafter.
Has full command (verbal and written) of the English language
Physical Requirements: Possesses the physical abilities, including heavy lifting, and perceptive acuity, e.g., visual, hearing, to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions. Review physical activities and working conditions for this position.
