Job Description:

• Through this program, we hope to provide opportunities to new Accounting professionals who are traditionally underrepresented in the industry.
• With the support of our firm, we want to train, grow, and develop strong talent to create a solid foundation for their career.
• With the help of RCC, AAFCPAs will tailor this program to the specific needs of the RCC student to ensure success.
• Interns will be given opportunities to work in different areas within Accounting, allowing them to decide what they enjoy doing most.
• Give students more exposure to the incredible profession of public accounting. There is so much variety in the type of work you can do and the opportunity to find something you excel at and connect with is significant.

Basic Qualifications:

• The E3 Program is a long-term program with requirements for commitment to performance at school and at work
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Meets expectations in performance
• This program runs throughout the year – unlike other internship programs which last a season, we provide a comprehensive experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Are a Business Major (Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management)
• Are enrolled in a business-related Certificate Program (Accounting)
• Have completed at least 18 credits, IST120 Microcomputer Applications and Principles of Accounting 1 and 2
• Have fundamental computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Flexibility to travel to client sites or office as needed (close proximity to Boston)
• Have strong interpersonal skills
• Have the ability to multi-task
• Are open to coaching and mentoring
• Punctual and strong time management skills
• Are an effective communicator
• Are self-motivated and have a can-do attitude
• Are enthusiastic and curious
