Enterprise Engineer

cFocus Software seeks an Enterprise Engineer to join our program supporting USDOT in Washington, DC. This position has remote capabilities. This position requires an active Secret clearance and must meet 8570 requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a computer, engineering, or science field.
• Active Secret Clearance
• 8570 Compliant (Security+ CE)
• 5+ years of experience with updates to the design and IA of the platform websites; includes design review with customer prior to implementation.
• 5+ years of experience updating the Drupal Environment to integrate with existing third-party tools (e.g., Foresee) and finalizing features for the Drupal environment.
• 5+ years of experience working through search engine optimization activities to increase the effectiveness of DOT search – for example, related queries and key matches.
• 5+ years of experience in updating, creating, or deleting workflows or portions of workflows to meet and improve business needs of Departmental customers.
• 5+ years of experience assisting in the development and implementation of operational standard operating procedures (SOPs) closely integrated into the Digital Government Strategy.
• 5+ years of experience using Jira.

Duties:

• Producing updates to existing page types and expertise relating to new page types.
• Experience Implementing metadata, tagging, and organizing content to drive customers directly to information.
• Experience with making updates relating to the menu or the information architecture that drives the menu creation.
• Updating and developing the content and page templates to render on all tablets and mobile devices.
• Continue to refine the integration of social media into the Drupal Environment.
• Respond to customer requirements from OCIO and the modes to integrate modules into the Drupal Environment, for example: foreign language, photo gallery, video gallery, calendars, screens reader functionality.
• Experience recommending and assisting with operating the DOT websites in line with best practices based on federal best practices at the cabinet agency level.
