Supply Chain Manager

What You'll Be Doing:

• Implement sourcing processes to support objectives, ensuring the ASL is developed based on commodities and track the health and viability of each supplier
• Provide guidance and overall direction to the Supply Chain Team regarding policy development, supplier selection, tracking and other supply chain activities
• Develop supply chain strategies and recommend short and long term buying strategies with defined risk/benefit
• Maintain and promote sound relationships with extensive network of suppliers and business community
• With support from Supply Quality, assist with audits to assure all procurement activities are performed to the accordance to the suppliers QMS
• Develop cross-functional teams to understand the needs of the material management function and drives process improvement
• Responsible for the development and execution of MRP processes and improvements
• Monitor ASL and work with Project Management and Supplier Quality to consolidate suppliers to improve leveraging possibilities
• Create and maintain KPIs to track supplier performance, production line recovery plans and supplier forecasts
• Drive continuous improvement in the procurement, purchasing and materials management space
• Create and maintain mutually beneficial long term partnerships with internal customers and suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement
• Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, or regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments

What You Have:

• Bachelors or Bachelors of arts degree
• 5-7 years previous experience working in supply chain or sourcing
• Detail oriented, highly organized individual
• Able to be flexible and to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner
• Ability to problem-solve, work under pressure, and to effectively manage stress.
• Medical device and/or manufacturing background a plus but not required
