BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Adeaca is an innovative software company providing next generation project business systems to large enterprise companies ($1B+) around the world. We give them an opportunity to move away from inefficient spreadsheets, manual processes, and low productivity tools. Adeaca provides a comprehensive solution to successfully bring together the core elements of any project-based business.

The Business Development Manager is a new position which will be critical to Adeaca’s planned growth. The successful candidate will possess determination and natural networking skills, with the ability to uncover opportunities through curiosity and persistence. In this crucial role, you will identify and cultivate strong relationships with potential customers to drive sustainable financial growth through increased sales to enterprise level targets. As an extrovert who loves to develop quality connections, you will build a robust and extensive network of new business potentials.

Location: Remote

Travel: 0 - 30%

Salary: Base plus Commission and Goal-Based Bonus Structure

Position Type: Full Time Employee, Monday – Friday business hours

 

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify and contact prospective customers through multiple channels
  • Lead generation outreach campaigns including cold calling and emailing to qualify leads and identify decision-makers
  • Successfully navigate organizations to establish contact with potential stakeholders and decision makers
  • Cultivate strong relationships with prospective customers and develop opportunities for new sales
  • Foster and support client relationships through sales and implementation cycle, ensuring satisfaction through go-live
  • Identification and resolution of roadblocks, ensuring stakeholder commitment
  • Utilize product knowledge to showcase PBA solutions to potential customers
  • Employ a CRM for prospect tracking
  • Build and maintain an extensive contact and referral network across industries
  • Attend relevant industry events to advance company reputation and awareness
  • Build brand awareness and recognition through various mediums
  • Conduct high level industry research to develop effective sales solutions

 

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years relevant SaaS Business Development and Outbound Sales experience
  • Experience in Project Management or project-oriented industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Proven track record in building and nurturing lasting customer relationships
  • Documented conversion rates
  • Networking aptitude and an active, large network to draw from
  • Active listening skills coupled with exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Ability to set and routinely exceed sales goals
  • Proactively persistent with a natural curiosity for more information
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance and successfully overcome adversity
