Commercial Collections Specialist

Schedule is full time (40 hrs per week) and/or part time (24-30 hrs per week), Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm. No nights or weekends required. No power dialer. The office is located in Milford, OH near the I275 Milford Parkway exit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain an existing and growing portfolio of 3rd party commercial collection accounts for high level clients.
• Negotiate payment arrangements with debtors to secure payment of outstanding account balances
• Consistently attempt to contact debtors via phone, email, letter, etc. at a volume required to maintain portfolio touch objective
• Document files/database with results of debtor contacts to keep client up to date
• Exhibit exemplary customer service in all interactions
• Communicate with management regarding account status and challenges
• Skip tracing to determine debtor address and contact information
• Comply with all federal, state and local laws, inclusive of FDCPA
• Meeting monthly performance expectations
• Performing other duties as requested, directed or assigned
• Regular attendance is required

Requirements:

• High school Diploma or additional education preferred
• Collections experience helpful but not required
• Bilingual and/or Spanish speaking beneficial but not required
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Organized, results driven individual that values attention to detail
• Positive attitude
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to submit to background and drug screen
