SCOPE: Candidate will work in the claims department, analyzing delay claims brought against the State within a geographic region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the workload within the geographic region assigned to them independently and think critically to make contractual decisions.
REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or associates degree with 2 years’ experience in similar position, or 4 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction schedules required.
• Similar position/s must include contract, project management and scheduling experience. Estimating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must have a driver's license valid in New York State and reliable means of transportation.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with all management levels.
• Must have exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Some NYS travel required.
• OSHA 30.

PAY RATE: $30.00-$62.00/Hourly Salary. Actual compensation will depend on the individual’s qualifications, education, skills, and experience.
JOB LOCATION: On-Site at the Buffalo, NY Office
