Personal Lines Account Manager/Customer Service

Position Overview

Insurance agency in Lincoln, CA seeking a Full-time Personal Lines Account Manager for a busy office. Fun, family atmosphere in the agency. Stay local, don’t commute to Sacramento. The successful candidate will have a current Property & Casualty license in good standing and at least 3 years-experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Quoting new personal lines policies for agents – auto, home, umbrella, RV’s

· Marketing renewals and presenting quotes to the insured

· General servicing of an established book of personal lines business

· Processing endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements

· Claim reporting

· Providing prompt, accurate & courteous service/communication to the clients, agents, and insurance company personnel

· Checking policies and endorsements for completeness and accuracy

· Identifying and following-up on cross-selling opportunities when appropriate

Qualifications and Skills

· California Property & Casualty license required

· Minimum of 3 years relevant personal lines insurance experience

· Working knowledge of AMS360 preferred

· Ability to work in a paperless environment

· Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

· Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

· Comprehensive knowledge of insurance industry standards, practices, and procedures

· Strong customer service skills

· Have a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and be coachable

· Have an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude

· Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency

· Cultivate relationships with new clients and nurture relationships with current clients

· Must be highly self-motivated and career-minded
