Job Summary
The Personal Lines Manager leads the Personal Lines department, driving sales growth, client retention, service excellence, operational efficiency, and team development. This role oversees daily operations and works with producers, account managers, carriers, and senior leadership to support profitable growth and outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Personal Lines department in achieving goals for client retention, service quality, sales support, account rounding, revenue growth, operating efficiency, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement sales growth initiatives and identify creative opportunities to expand the Personal Lines book of business.
  • Manage daily department operations, workflows, staffing needs, workloads, and service standards to ensure timely and accurate handling of new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, billing questions, claims support, and client inquiries.
  • Supervise, coach, and support Personal Lines account managers, account administrators, and related team members, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance feedback, workload management, and professional development.
  • Evaluate team performance, set objectives and standards, and address performance concerns in alignment with company policies and expectations.
  • Resolve escalated client or carrier issues and provide guidance on coverage, policy changes, billing, claims, and risk management needs.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by insurance leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent; plus, specialized training or education in insurance.
  • At least five years of management experience, and 10 years of insurance experience preferred. All relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Must hold a PA Producer License.
