I’m seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager for a reputable,  family-owned independent agency serving Eastern North Carolina with 50+ carrier relationships.


Role Overview

The Personal Lines Account Manager supports a high-volume book of personal insurance clients, focusing on service, renewals, and client retention while producers handle most new business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a personal lines book of business
  • Handle inbound client requests regarding policies, coverages, and renewals
  • Process endorsements, ID cards, policy changes, and updates
  • Support producers during renewals and retention efforts
  • Maintain strong relationships with individual and family clients
  • Work within a fully digital/paperless workflow

Coverage types: Auto, home, renters, umbrella, boat, motorcycle, flood, and life insurance.


Must-Have Qualifications

  • Active North Carolina Property & Casualty license
  • 4+ years of personal lines insurance experience
  • Strong customer service and client communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, tech-driven environment

Preferred Experience

  • Applied Systems (Epic or TAM)
  • Independent agency background
  • Knowledge of NC personal lines carriers
  • Spanish bilingual
  • Experience managing large personal lines books
