Job Description: Porex is looking for a dynamic business partner, with a successful diverse global supply chain operations and procurement background, to lead the Global Supply Chain & Procurement team. The Global Director Supply Chain & Procurement will need to have both strong analytical and communication skills with a desire to work for a fast-paced organization. In addition to exceptional and inspirational leadership, the successful candidate must have a "roll-up your sleeves" bias for action attitude. This position will report to the Global VP of Operations. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and lead the Global Supply Chain & Procurement functions for a fast-growing company of $300M+ annualized revenue with 8 global manufacturing locations.Lead the Porex Supply Chain and Procurement Organization by delivering technology, policies and processes to drive world-class performance.Serve as the leader for procurement centric knowledge related to: Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Global Supply Chain Management inclusive of Risk and Relationships.Responsible for developing a governance plan to enable world-class processes, systems, reporting, continuous improvement and facilitating stakeholder engagement.Drive global procurement and supply chain transformation.Indirect leadership for procurement and supply chain teams in our eight global operations sites, assisting in developing the strategy and execution plans to drive maximum value for the entire supply chain.Serves on the Porex Global Operations Leadership Team, providing valuable input and collaboration to drive maximum value for our entire operational functions including logistics, planning, network optimization, and procurement. ResponsibilitiesDirect leadership for Supply Chain and Global Procurement leaders and indirect leadership for functional teams in 8 sites globally.Oversee and lead the global supply chain and procurement functions which include logistics, material planning, transportation, and warehousing.Develop and execute Supplier Relationship Strategy that maximizes value for Porex, establishes strategic relationships with key suppliers, mitigates risk, and builds category expertise.Work with operations and commercial managers to ensure service and inventory plans and execution are consistent with business financial and cost goals.Provide support to internal manufacturing operations and to other global functions including Planning, Network Optimization, Continuous Improvement, and Procurement.Support inventory optimization efforts and procurement strategies to ensure best in class cash conversion cycle attainment. Development of supporting inventory, volume, service and space requirements.Identify and implement new or “best practices” designed to drive a world class supply chain.Lead multiple departments, both direct and indirect, including Raw Material, Transportation, Logistics, Warehousing. Ensure goals are aligned with Operations. Supply Chain and inventory strategies and objectives are measured with relevant key performance metrics across all locations (including financial, production, service, etc.).Interact with leadership and operational teams in multiple factories globally.Travel up to 50% including both domestic and international locations. Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Finance, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.At least 8 years of supply chain and procurement leadership experience to include operations strategy development, supply chain management, logistics, and procurement.5 + years of experience in a leadership role with demonstrated success in growing and developing a team, both direct and indirect.Demonstrated success in SRM, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management.
