Job Title: Project Manager - Civil Construction

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead projects in the Clinton, CT area.

Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of civil construction projects, from inception to completion. We are looking for a dedicated professional with extensive experience in civil construction and a thorough understanding of ConnDOT codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple civil construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with ConnDOT codes.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to achieve project milestones.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to address concerns and ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of ConnDOT codes, regulations, and procedures.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, or similar tools.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
