Job Description

We are a busy retail/wholesale Outlet seeking an E-Commerce Associate to assist with growing our online business. The candidate would assist our existing teams in onboarding new products, improving existing product listings, monitor product listings for issues, as well as assist in other tasks as they come up. We prefer a year of E-Commerce experience and at least a GED or High School Diploma.

Main Responsibilities:

Onboarding new products into various marketplaces (Wayfair, Overstock, Ebay, Walmart, Poshmark, Amazon, Etsy, etc) and managing existing product listings.

Data entry of product measurements, descriptions, features, inventory, and keywords into spreadsheets or web portals.
Maintenance and updates of product listings as necessary.
Working with graphic designers to create suitable product images.
Communicating with manufacturers for product information and materials.
Communicating with marketplace support to correct or assist in product listings.
Assisting in measuring/weighing products to get accurate shipping information.
Monitoring product inventory to identify low stock/out of stock/inaccurate stock products.
Updating inventory through online programs such as WooCommerce, Fishbowl, or marketplace portals.
Occasionally assisting with various tasks that may come up.

Required Skills:

Intermediate computer skills - Able to organize, download, and upload images, spreadsheets, product feeds, and other files.
Intermediate skills with Excel or Google Sheets - Must know how to sort/filter sheets and must understand formulas (such as VLOOKUP and nested IFs) or be willing to learn.
Experience working with popular online sales platforms and their product management portals such as Wayfair, Overstock, Amazon, eBay, BigCommerce, Shopify, Etsy, Home Depot, etc.
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with basic SEO concepts such as keywords.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
Able to take written and verbal instructions/directions in a professional and courteous manner.
Be willing to learn and develop new skills as needed.

Not required (good to have):

Experience with PPC marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Amazon ads, etc.
Experience with BOLs, shipping documents, or shipping orders.
Experience with FBA fulfillment and setup.
Experience with E-commerce order and inventory management software such as Shipstation, Fisbowl, LogicBroker, or similar programs.
Experience in copywriting product descriptions or features.
