SUMMARY
F8 is technology consulting firm looking for an ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE with a friendly, positive attitude to create and close new business to drive company revenue. We service the nonprofit and construction industries in the NYC/Philadelphia/DC Metro areas. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, self-motivated, superior customer service skills and a passion for tech to help our clients succeed in their missions.
No technology experience required. This position is 80% telecommuting. Includes base salary + commission.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll be on the front lines educating C-Level executives about technology services and customizing solutions that fit them. You'll be helping us change the world by supporting our nonprofit clients, and ultimately giving the people our clients help better lives.
Business Development: Own and manage pipeline of prospects by cold calling, emailing and onsite canvassing; Assist our Senior Account Manager to consult, educate, strategize and successfully sell technology services through a high volume of sales calls, emails and on-site meetings; Assist in inside sales and account management for existing clients; Manage sales opportunities and follow up using CRM system; Develop partner solutions that clearly achieve client objectives; Achieve and consistently exceed quarterly sales goals.
Marketing: Develop both offline and online marketing, including developing messaging outreach; Market research online and physical canvassing; Connect with C-Level executives and upper management; Attend industry events to establish market presence.
Account Management: First line of contact for client account inquiries; Assist Engineering and Client Relations team to ensure projects and inquiries are addressed in a timely manner; Actively communicate with Finance team to resolve account inquiries and payment issues; Draft and present client presentations as needed.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Ideal candidate is a polished self-starter, confident with lots of energy and NOT SHY.
- 3-5 years' experience in B2B sales with proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Self-starter who can handle all aspects of the position, from prospecting to putting together marketing plans and proposals, to crafting your own pitch and brainstorming ideas for clients
- Excellent communication skills - no fear of phones or constructive criticism about writing style
- Organized, loves details and ready to pitch at all times
- Positive attitude and a drive to win
- Create value opportunities through sales and relationships with other organizations.
- Quiet home free from distractions with reliable internet
- Able to travel into NYC area one day a month for sales meetings
- Works well with teams and when solo
- Passion for technology is a plus! List of prospects in the nonprofit and/or construction sector is even better.
