Assistant Foreman

To help oversee and execute on renovation and construction projects of sports field surfaces.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist the foreman with project oversight and participate in the construction process to complete projects awarded to Sports Field Solutions in a timely and economical manner.
2. Report to and counsel with the Lead Foreman to successfully implement construction plans.
3. Direct and assign team members under the direction of the foreman on specific tasks to complete the scope of work. 
4. Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, sod machines, drills, etc.) to complete construction and renovation projects.
5. Receive training and operate tractors, skid steers, and other mid-to-large size construction equipment to complete projects as needed.
6. Train crew members on project specifics, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
7. Complete Daily Activity Reports via smartphone/laptop to account for each day’s progress.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bilingual - English and Spanish
2. Driver's License

Informal requirements include a passion for learning and producing high-quality work, the ability to communicate effectively, and  an inclination to value teamwork over ego.
