Job Title: Viewpoint Vista ERP Analyst

Position Purpose: The Viewpoint Vista ERP Analyst will primarily be responsible for assisting the users of the ERP system with development, troubleshooting, and training and in working with IT developers and consultants to implement changes and improvements to the ERP. This position requires an individual that has a desire to serve internal customers, can manage multiple priorities with deadlines, and has attention to detail. The company continues to show steady growth, and the Viewpoint Vista ERP Analyst is required to have a strong focus on the continues improvement of processes and controls.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Hoffman Companies is comprised of five main companies who utilize four different ERP systems.
• Hoffman Building Technologies (HBT) and Hoffman Mechanical Solutions (HMS) both currently use Viewpoint by Trimble.
• The Business Analyst is a new role we are adding for both HBT and HMS to:
  1. Be responsible to be our local expert for the ERP system.
  2. Work with ERP users to both create and improved reporting for financial, operations, and executive functions.
  3. Lead project management for:
     • software upgrades and improvements.
     • Integration with other systems and software.
  4. Assist with evaluations of Viewpoint and potential replacement of the Viewpoint.
  5. Coordinate and lead training.
  6. Coordinate and lead process improvement activities.
• Contribute to Team Effort by leading by example; initiating an open and positive attitude; coordinating all the above tasks for the company in a professional manner.

Position Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with Viewpoint Vista required.
• Minimum 3 years in an Business Analyst or similar role.
• General knowledge of both accounting principles and practices and basic ERP structure.
• Willingness to learn new ERP systems and related software.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with limited supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and build relationships with all levels of fellow employees.
• Ability to convey information effectively and clearly both in both verbal and written form.
• Must be reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling of obligations.
• Must be detail oriented, results oriented and able to embrace and adapt to change.
• Ability to deliver high customer service and lead by example.
