Compensation: Base ($75,000-$85,000 range) + Target Bonus (10%)

We’re seeking a Manager, Digital Sales to join our Television Distribution Group. This role is perfect for someone who is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in driving digital and physical sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at navigating the evolving digital landscape while forging meaningful partnerships to maximize revenue streams.

This role will play a pivotal role in devising and executing strategies to monetize a diverse range of revenue channels, including EST/TVOD, AVOD/FAST, DVD, and CLIP/SOCIAL. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to establish and enhance relationships with key stakeholders, driving growth and innovation in an ever-changing industry landscape.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Execution
  • Work in collaboration with leadership to develop, execute, and manage FIFTH SEASON TV Distribution’s strategies to monetize a range of revenue channels including EST/TVOD, AVOD/FAST, DVD, and CLIP/SOCIAL.
  • Lead AVOD, Transactional, and DVD partner sales plans that result in the achievement of budget targets.
  • Identify new opportunities for sales and develop strategies targeted specifically to monetize these opportunities.

Partnership Management and Expansion
  • Establish and enhance relationships with ISPs, OEMs, telcos, digital, and physical partners to maximize potential sales of the company’s product.
  • Manage existing partnerships and identify, recruit, and scale new partners for FIFTH SEASON.
  • Act as the lead negotiator on new partner agreements and renewals for TVOD/EST, AVOD/FAST, DVD, and New Media partnerships.
Business Development and Operational Support
  • Support the evolution of multiple business development processes, including identifying commercial opportunities, negotiating key terms, performing financial and legal due diligence, and coordinating the internal approval process with stakeholders.
  • Research, analyze, prepare, and communicate presentations and options on multiple channel strategy objectives.
  • Provide guidance to Finance for building budgets and forecasts.

Relationship Management and Representation
  • Manage partner relations, including approval of title selections, marketing and publicity initiatives, merchandising, and placement negotiation.
  • Regularly update management on local market trends, sales initiatives, leads, and results.
  • Act as a brand ambassador who professionally represents FIFTH SEASON at industry conventions, screenings, and events.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required in territories.

Requirements:

Experience and Knowledge
  • 3-5 years of experience in television sales or acquisitions at a studio or digital platform.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital video landscape: TVOD/EST, AVOD/FAST, DVD. CLIP/SOCIAL Licensing insight a plus.
  • Strong understanding of TV rights, windows, and technical deliverables.
  • Clear understanding of content market dynamics and evolution.
  • Familiarity with linear/SVOD marketplace a plus.

Skills and Abilities
  • End-to-end project delivery experience, including negotiation and analysis.
  • Proven track record in budget management and results delivery.
  • Experience in media/entertainment commercial development.
  • Strong business development skills: identifying opportunities and partners.
  • Effective executive-level communication of strategy and results.
  • Business judgment balancing tactical execution and strategic vision.

Network
  • Existing network in US digital industry and physical industry network a plus.
