Accounts Payable

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Representative. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong numerical skills, and is a proactive problem solver. The ideal candidate will have a robust operational accounting background and enjoy balancing multiple priorities. Schedule is Monday- Friday from 8am-5pm and pay rate is $21.00 hourly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review, audit, and process invoices and expense reports in accordance with company policies.

• Ensure the accuracy of invoices, verifying proper authorization and documentation.

• Post payables into the accounting system accurately.

• Prepare and execute weekly check runs.

• Assist in reconciling vendor statements and maintaining vendor relationships.

• Resolve vendor invoice and employee expense issues promptly.

• Manage shared inboxes and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles.

• Comfortable with embracing change in an evolving environment.

• Demonstrated teamwork capabilities.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• A minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience.

• Experience in the transportation/logistics industry is a plus.

• Multi-state employer experience preferred.
