About the Role
A specialty insurance agency based in Atlanta has an opportunity to join their team as Personal Lines Rater. They have a lot of new business from their website, so a big portion of your role will be quoting and servicing new clients. You'll obtain quotes using online rating platforms as well as corresponding with underwriters and following through with information requests. Over time as the new business continues to grow there could be opportunities to become more involved in client service and account management duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support client service requests from policy changes and additions to questions about billing and claims status
- Assist with renewal preparation, gathering updated information, completing applications, and preparing summaries/proposals/presentations for clients
- Obtain quotes using online rating platforms as well as corresponding with underwriters and following through with information requests
Skills & Experience
- At least one (1) year of personal lines insurance agency experience required
- Active state insurance license
Job Specs
Location: 100% remote, work from home available for applicants in the following time zones- Eastern Standard Time, Central Standard Time, and Mountain Standard Time.
