Job Description

The Valcourt Business Development Manager position is responsible for growing our branch revenue through proactive and reactive sales efforts. BDMs will prospect new and existing clients for annually contracted window cleaning services and for one time project work. BDMs are responsible for handling RFPs that come to us for both annually contracted work and project work. Our BDMs are the main point of contact for all needs that our clients have, and the main conduit between our clients and our operations team. The successful candidate will be able to manage and fulfill requests that include, but are not limited to, complaints, damages, account changes, changeovers, one-time sales opportunities, new business opportunities, and questions regarding our services. The BDM is also tasked with building and strengthening our relationships with our clients through customer service calls, client walk-ins, lunches with clients, association event management, entertaining at sporting events, and other miscellaneous client relationship items that may arise. The BDM will support our operations team by upselling existing accounts, troubleshooting client issues that operations need support with, and clearly communicating scopes and expectations on jobs that you sell. The BDM will report to our Director of Business Development.

Candidate Requirements –

Bachelor’s degree – preferred.
3–5-year work history with pattern of success at previous positions
Outgoing personality
