DOMESTIC PARTS SPECIALIST

Job Summary:

Van Chevrolet/Cadillac/Subaru is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Domestic Parts Specialist to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Domestic Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by effectively identifying and sourcing the necessary parts for GM vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry and will be an individual contributor role.

We are not looking for a "job hopper". Our turnover in this dealership is far below industry standard and we want to keep it that way. We are a BUSY shop. We have the Chevrolet and Cadillac brands.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $20.29 per hour. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Identify and source GM parts needed for repairs or upgrades
- Enter and process parts orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain an organized and clean parts department
- Monitor and manage inventory levels
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns with courtesy and effectiveness
- Stay up-to-date on the latest GM parts and procedures
- Collaborate with service and sales departments to ensure timely and efficient repairs
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1+ years of experience in a parts department
- Extensive knowledge of GM parts and their applications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management systems
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to 50 lbs.)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
