Preschool Teacher Assistant
- $15 Hourly
- Part-Time
This is a state licensed daycare/preschool. The position would start as a part time position, but has a potential to progress to a full time position. The starting shift is from 7:30 AM- 12:30 PM. Starting pay will depend on level of experience and certifications. Must be 21+ and have previous childcare experience to be considered.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Engaging in creative methods of learning, such as arts and crafts, supervised play, circle time, and monitoring sensory play.
- Educating children on preschool fundamentals
- Encouraging social interactions while ensuring the safety of the each child
- Food preparation
- Cleaning
Requirements: (These do not have to be completed in order to be considered for the position)
- Federal fingerprinting
- First Aid/CPR certification
- State background check
- Safe Sleep certification
- Medical- TB vaccination
If these requirements are not met before employment start date, there will be a probationary period for the position until they are met. This probationary period will have a lower start pay and pay will increase at the time that these requirements are met.
