Highly successful neurosurgery program in Denver, Colorado is seeking a physician assistant to join their growing team! Be part of a group with outstanding APP culture and an excellent track record of training and retaining PAs and NPs. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in neurosurgery as a PA, however the group is also willing to train candidates with other surgical experience, or even an exceptional new graduate with a neurosurgery rotation. Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent position - Neurosurgery
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Approximately 50/50 split between OR and clinic
- Work one-on-one with a fellowship trained neurosurgeon
- First-assist in the OR on spinal and cranial cases
- See patients pre-op and post-op in clinic
- On-call schedule - 1 week per month
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in neurosurgery or another relevant surgical specialty
- Ability to obtain Colorado Physician Assistant License
- DEA License
- BLS/ACLS
