Space Training Specialist

Sigmatech is seeking a highly motivated space education professional to provide space training engineering support to STARCOM. In this position, the contractor is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective planning, analysis, acquisition, and development of Space Force training capabilities. Specific job tasks include:

• Providing integrated support for requirements development, training reviews, training and curriculum development, training strategy and planning, and other training related activities.
• Support drafting and recommendation of space training policy, procedures, and concepts
• Provide independent assessments of safety, mission protection/security implications of planned training activities
• Conduct advanced planning and deconfliction of training assets
• Coordinate and schedule training missions
• Employ/onboard visualization, planning, and scheduling tools
• Support real-time safety and security monitoring of training activities

15+ years experience in space operations training

Bachelor's and Master's Degree (technical)

Exceptional written and verbal communications skills

Experienced in Microsoft's suite of software (MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)

Experience with space crew training; training evaluation and analysis; development of crew consoles and aids for space systems

Knowledge in human-machine interfaces; operations of training environments; and training simulators

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $100,000 to $180,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
