Job description

Space Systems Integration (SSI) is a fast-growing engineering company that provides aerospace solutions to a variety of government and commercial customers. Our employees are forward-thinking, self-directed individuals who are committed to solving our customers' technical challenges.
SSI is seeking a Space Operations Integrator for a role in El Segundo, CA.
Serve as a subject matter expert in support to the U.S. Space Force (USSF) in developing and deploying warfighter capabilities. As our Operations Integrator you will support our customer in a technical capacity for planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight of system development and acquisitions that advance the USSF. You will interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (Program Managers, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, and external/partner organizations).
Role and Responsibilities include:
  • Provide operations expertise to requirements and CONOPS development, systems design and testing, systems integration, tactical/operational command and control analysis.
  • Assist in translating space operator mission requirements to developer capabilities.
  • Review documentation, represent government as required in forums that support streamlined delivery of new capabilities and standardization of integration efforts.
  • Assist with securely scaling development of prototyped systems to enterprise operational applications for space.
  • Sustain development and refinement of acquisition strategies, as well as identify program execution issues and provide recommendations.
  • Generate presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication products to assist the government customer in achieving favorable program outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 14+ years of experience with space systems.
  • Must have experience in space operations.
  • Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and rolled in the Continuous Vetting program (if applicable).
  • Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs and consent to a polygraph examination (as required).

$190,000 - $220,000 a year
Target salary range: $190,000 - $220,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range and bonus potential for this position based on experience and other factors.
