Draft Beer Technician

Cardinal Equipment Services (CES) provides services such as remanufacturing, refurbishing and repair services (including preventative maintenance, reactive repair, and equipment movement) for beverage companies, OEMs, FLOs, Independent Fountain Operators, and other Asset Heavy Customers.

CES was founded in 2021 and is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.

General Description / Job Summary:

The Draft Beer - Field Service Technician will provide support to the Cardinal Equipment Service Department performing essential mechanical duties and department functions. This role will be responsible for a wide variety of assignments associated with – but not limited to draft beer reactive service, beverage installation and removal. Additional responsibilities include parts and equipment accountability, resource management, customer relations, job site surveys and collaborating closely with customers and co-workers.

This position will require flexibility to work various schedules.

Primary Duties:

· Reactive Draft Beer Mechanical Service

· Beverage Equipment Installation, Removal, Modification and Relocation and Repair

· Parts and Equipment Accountability

· Maintain positive customer and co-worker relationships.

· Record and account for billable time, parts and services related to work assignments.

• Position requires the flexibility to work various shifts to support business and customer needs.
• Comply with all Company/DOT vehicle policies. Smith-System, Geotab, Lytx (Dashcams), etc.

· Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and safety requirements.

Desired Work Experience:

· Draught beer mechanical service and installation experience.

· Soft drink equipment installation experience.

· Basic plumbing and electrical experience.

· Ice Maker experience.

· Basic computer skills.

· Valid Drivers’ license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

Education Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED required.

Work Environment:

· Customer accounts both indoors and outdoors

· Travel Potential - 10%

· Equipment Used: Basic hand tools, handheld computer, lift carts, ladders, electric and battery drills, saws, etc.

· Physical effort required in job: Heavy lifting, bending, climbing, and stretching.

· Potential of working in tight and cramped spaces
