Job Summary: The Beer Sales Manager is responsible directing and controlling the sales, delivery, and merchandising activities within their assigned area of responsibility. The Sales Manager is also responsible for assisting the VP of Sales-Beer with the establishment of monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives and the attainment of those objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Beer Sales Team to achieve volume, revenue, margin, and distribution objectives.
  • Hire, onboard, and retain high-performing sales professionals while building a strong talent pipeline.
  • Conduct regular field rides and sales coaching sessions to improve selling effectiveness, account management, and execution standards.
  • Develop and execute local and national sales strategies that drive market share growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, chain accounts, suppliers, and distribution partners.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide accurate sales forecasts, business insights, and action plans.
  • Ensure consistent execution of company standards related to pricing, promotions, displays, product placement, distribution, and merchandising.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Supplier Partners to successfully launch new products, promotional programs, and growth initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably within the beverage, beer, CPG, or distribution industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth, market share gains, and profitability objectives.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills with experience managing multiple direct reports.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and customer management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using sales reporting tools, CRM systems, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
