About us:

South Shore Craft Brewery is a production brewery with a taproom located on the South Shore of Long Island in Oceanside, New York. We have 20 Taps and offer NYS liquors, wine and Mead because we have a Farm Brewery license. Open for 2 years we are growing strong and have canned over 20 different styles of our beer. We have a seven barrel brewing system with 65 barrels of fermentation available.

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Sales Representative. This position is an account-level sales person focused on promoting and growing the South Shore Craft Brewery brand across our region.The sales rep needs to work 2-3 full days per week with flexible hours/days, and daily travel. Meeting with bar and restaurant managers requires afternoon and evening hours

Job Qualifications:

High-energy, detail-oriented person needed for a fast-paced, but rewarding position. Must have a pleasant personality, be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and the ability to communicate well with people. Knowledge of the beer industry and beverage industry sales experience is preferred however we will consider someone new to the role with the right personality traits. The ideal candidate would live in the area and have good, working knowledge of the local beer scene.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Visit and maintain contact with retailers, restaurants, and bars.

  • Cultivate and strengthen the critical relationship between our company and our customers

  • Achieve volume and distribution targets in defined territory and target accounts.

  • Conduct special events, festivals, beer dinners & tastings as needed.

  • Maximize product velocity by improving merchandising and brand presence within retail locations.

  • Train and educate distributors & retail accounts (including bartender & wait-staff personnel) on our brand.

  • Review beer inventory to maintain proper levels based upon our core & seasonal offerings.

  • Monitor and uphold the companyโ€™s strict quality standards.

  • Perform administrative duties in a timely manner

  • Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times.

  • Perform other business related duties as assigned.
