Job Description

Lepley Recruiting Services is working with a Hardwood Flooring Distribution Company in search of an Outside Dealer Sales Consultant for the Houston territory.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES IN PERSON VISITS TO CLIENT ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE HOUSTON MARKET, INVOLVING DRIVING AND DIRECT FACE TO FACE INTERACTIONS WITH CLIENTS.

As a Dealer Sales Consultant, your mission involves fostering connections, arranging displays, and expanding business within brick-and-mortar retail flooring and design centers. This encompasses promoting the exclusive brand of floors and other flooring categories.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiency in field operations and strategic planning for daily calls and visits are paramount.

• Negotiating and securing sales
• Conducting field visits to flooring retail stores on a daily basis, fostering personal connections
• Managing communication via phone calls, texts, and emails
• Utilizing CRM software to document visits and activities
• Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues
• Prospecting for new accounts and nurturing existing ones
• Developing a newly assigned territory
• Arranging product displays in showrooms and conducting product knowledge seminars for customers.

Compensation comprises a base salary plus commission, with a bonus structure and opportunities to increase the base salary by achieving sales targets.

Salary:

Starts at $50,000 per year + Commission (Potential to exceed $100,000 within three years)
