Job Description

Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing, directing, and overseeing project-based work for our clients. The Project Manager will lead project teams and exhibit a high degree of initiative in resolving problems encountered during projects and presenting solutions to the client. This role will partner with business owners, IT teams and leadership stakeholders to plan and execute all aspects of complex, technical and high-profile projects, utilizing industry standard project management best practices, business processes and tools. This role will report on project status to our VP of delivery, ensuring projects are completed successfully.  This is a hybrid position that will require 2 to 3 days per week onsite in Philadelphia, PA.


Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Lead assigned projects and project staff by creating appropriate project plans and documentation
  • Manage and control a project plan, schedule, budget, manage risks/issues, and coordinate resources from project start to finish
  • Manage project resources, overseeing day-to-day task execution
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Prepare for, analyze, and control changes on a project
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical Team Members throughout and across projects
  • Facilitate quality assurance best practices
  • Ensure applicable project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and clients
  • Work closely with Business Analyst(s) to gather, document, and administer requirements by working with
    business areas to understand requirements and business needs
  • Manage relationships across business segments or multiple functional areas

Education, Experience and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree


Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in project management software
  • Microsoft Office Products: Project, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel
  • Proven meeting facilitator with explicit skills leading productive meetings
  • Experience mentoring, motivating, and leading team members
  • Ability to manage diverse teams and handle multiple business and technology assignments concurrently
