Janitorial / Full-time - Santa Ana (NOTE REMOTE)
Job Type: Monday-Friday
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (start rate depends on experience)
Hours: Flexible (TBD)
BENEFITS:
As part of the Janitorial team your role will include, but not limited to the following, keeping the buildings in clean and orderly condition. Performing routine maintenance activities, performing heavy cleaning duties; sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming floors. You will assist in making sure all supplies are stocked and organized throughout each facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
As a non-exempt employee, the employee shall work a designated number of hours per week as assigned by management. Employee must also follow company's policies regarding required meals and/or breaks.
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

You will assist in making sure all supplies are stocked and organized throughout each facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.).
- Empty all trash receptacles, dispose of trash into dumpsters, and bag trash for proper disposal.
- Unlock doors, ensure doors are locked after cleaning areas.
- May provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions. May report issues with vendors to supervisor.
- May assist to perform minor maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities.
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or need for repairs.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs.
- Stock and maintain supply rooms.
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties assigned.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Ability to understand verbal instructions.
- Ability to operate vacuums and other related equipment.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
- Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs.
- Prior experience is necessary.
- Valid California Drivers License.
- Reliable transportation.
- Negative TB test results within the past 12 months.
