Part Time: 24 hours/week

Pay: $18/hr

Estimated Schedule: Contract Dependent, Monday - Sunday

Job Summary


True North Goodwill is seeking a self-driven and responsible janitorial professional to provide top-tier janitorial service to our contracted customers at the Ulta and Barnes & Noble department stores located in Duluth’s Miller Hill Mall. Candidates must be ready to provide cleaning services in very public spaces.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Following direction of Janitorial Lead and Director of Business Service
  • Washing windows and mirrors
  • Wiping down and sanitizing surfaces
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking restrooms
  • Sweeping, moping, polishing, and vacuuming floors
  • Organizing janitor closet and properly storing all supplies and tools
  • Notifying Janitorial Lead when major issues arise
  • Following and filling out janitorial checklists
  • Following safety precautions
  • Adhering to True North Goodwill company policies
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Punctuality and strict attendance
  • Constantly professional and courteous demeanor with Ulta and Barnes & Noble Staff and their customers
  • High attention to detail and standard for a clean environment
  • Must have ability to follow directions and collaborate with other janitorial and maintenance staff
  • Must have the ability to learn and retain safety requirements when working with chemical cleaners and blood borne pathogens
  • General knowledge of cleaning supplies and janitorial equipment preferred
Education and Experience
  • Professional janitorial experience preferred, not required
  • No formal education required
Physical Requirements

CONSTANT: Standing, walking, bending. OCCASIONAL: Lift and carry up to 25 pounds. RARE: Be able to kneel and work in low places.
