Job Title: Site Lead - Evening Janitorial Supervisor
Location: Toledo, OH 43611
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM-1:00 AM (occasional weekend shifts)
Status: Full-Time
Position Summary
Clean Team is hiring a reliable and motivated Site Lead to manage evening janitorial operations at a client facility in Toledo, Ohio (43611). This is a working supervisor role responsible for leading a team, maintaining cleaning standards, and ensuring the building is secure and ready for the next day. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading by example in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom sanitation, and trash removal
  • Lead and support team members during each shift to ensure work is completed efficiently and correctly
  • Cover cleaning tasks when team members are absent or areas require additional attention
  • Conduct nightly inspections and final walkthroughs to verify all areas meet company and client expectations
  • Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissue products
  • Maintain janitorial closets and equipment, including changing vacuum bags and properly storing cleaning tools and chemicals
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply or equipment needs to the Area Manager
  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Secure the building at the end of each shift by turning off lights, setting alarms, and locking doors

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
  • Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lead a team, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities
