We are in search of a Director of Low Voltage with a proven track record in overseeing multiple projects, from the bidding stage through installation and finalization, for a direct hire position with our client in Tampa, FL.
In this role you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Compensation $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems including but not limited to structured cabling, fire alarm systems, CCTV, security systems, and access control.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Manage project budget and resource allocation efficiently.
- Coordinate efforts with other trades and departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance, providing direct leadership to foremen, technicians, and other site personnel.
- Ensure all installations meet current codes and regulations, and that workmanship quality standards are maintained or exceeded.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve onsite issues and conflicts.
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and contribute to the enforcement of safety guidelines.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best terms and products.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on site, ensuring all client requirements are met and issues are promptly addressed.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and applications in low voltage systems.
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Superintendent or in a similar managerial role in electrical construction.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards relevant to low voltage systems.
- Excellent leadership and human resources management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
