Job Title: Senior Military Analyst (Science & Technology)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the assigned program in a variety of ways including but not limited to execution of experiments and exercises from planning stage through after-action stage, providing review and analysis of Mission Command initiatives, and supporting capabilities development projects and efforts.
  • Completes any other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 combined years' experience in Army acquisition and/or S&T development with knowledge of JCIDS process and experience working with ASAALT organizations, DARPA, Academia, or commercial firms. Ability to identify potential Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to identified gaps is desired.
  • SECRET Clearance or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • MEL IV Graduate
  • Knowledgeable in Joint, Army, and Coalition operations and doctrine
  • Two (2) years’ experience in Army Futures Command (AFC) or TRADOC (preferred experience in a Center of Excellence)
  • Two (2) years’ experience working within an Echelons Above Brigade headquarters.
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills are required.

Experience in more than one of the following:

  1. Two (2) years’ experience in JCIDS process and capabilities development, experimentation
  2. Scenario development, simulations, and/or exercise execution experience
  3. Mission Command knowledge and expertise at EAB levels
  4. Demonstrated experience in studies analysis, prototyping,
  5. Experience with Army Acquisition or S&T development (highly desired)

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional classroom and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install/repair computer equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting is required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Workdays do not include working or conducting business on Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed closings.

Travel:

Minimal travel may be required
