Apprentice Installer at Standard Restaurant Supply - Albuquerque

Position Available: Apprentice Installer

Standard Restaurant Supply is currently looking to add an Apprentice Installer.

Candidate must have a current driver license, clean driving record, be able to pass a Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check. Candidate must be able to work flexible scheduled days / hours as well as overtime and have the availability to travel. Applicant to have the capacity to follow instructions and possess knowledge and previous experience with hand and power tools along with the ability to lift at least 50lbs.  Ideal Candidate will have some knowledge in electrical and plumbing and work well in teams.

Responsibilities:

·       Read and Follow Food Service Equipment Plans and Specifications.

·       Receive, unload, uncrate and safely transport equipment into the building. 

·       Assembly of all equipment.

·       Installation of all accessories onto the equipment.

·       Properly set and level all equipment.

·       Properly anchor and hang all wall mounted equipment.

·       Properly anchor, brace and hang Exhaust Hoods.

·       Assemble Walk-in Refrigerated Boxes.

·       Hang Evaporator Coils and set-in place Compressors

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial and household equipment.
• Ability to pass a Background Check.
• Ability to pass Drug / Alcohol test.
• Familiarity with installation tools and equipment.

·       Some Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge.

·       Experience driving appliance delivery trucks

• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to work well in teams
• Experience with hardwired appliances
• Experience with built-in appliances

·       Job Type: Full-time

·       Availability to Travel

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
