Position: Parts Advisor

Hours: Mon - Fri, 11:30 am - 8:00 pm (Split Shift)

Location: River States Truck & Trailer, 690 Starr Ln, Roberts, WI 54023

Pay: $37,440 - $45,760 per year

Job Responsibilities

• Looking up and selling heavy truck parts and accessories to all customers over the counter, through the shop, and on the phone.
• Assisting all customers (retail, wholesale, and internal) by selecting required parts.
• Using critical thinking and problem solving skills while informing customers of companion part requirements.
• Maintaining the parts retail display area.
• Receiving and properly handling customer payments.
• Following up and being accountable.
• Staying current on new products and new technology.
• Being customer focused, actively listening, and providing solutions.
• Building trust, collaborating, and maintaining cooperative relationships.
• Maintaining neat and orderly work area.
• Adhering to and promoting company safety policy.
• Maintaining a professional appearance.
• Performing other duties assigned by a manager/supervisor; being adaptable.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 11:30 am to 8:00 pm (split shift)
• Occasional Saturdays, as needed

Compensation

• $18-$22+ per hour (pay is based on experience)
• Paid by-weekly
• Departmental bonus available

Must Have

• Basic automotive/mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent customer service, verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A positive team attitude (a must!)

Would Like To Have

• 1 year of prior heavy truck parts sales.
• Experience using CDK
