Meat Cutter

Duties/Responsibilities

· Process/Cut & pack meat products to order schedule specifications either by hand or by various machines in the production line.

· Cut, trim, bone, or grind meats (beef, pork and/or lamb) to various cut and trim specifications

· Sharpen and adjust cutting/processing equipment. Start-up and shut down equipment.

· Receive and inspect meat. Maintain proper stock levels on the production line.

· Identify various product forms by sight and packs each product according to specifications (type of product, boxes, labels, etc.)

· Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, procedures and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements

· Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required, or directed by management.

· Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.

Schedule: Sunday thru Thursday, 7 am until the end (typically about 4 pm or 5 pm)
